New factory and warehouse

for Dezac Group Ltd
The Dezac Group is a successful young company that manufactures
electronic health and beauty products that are marketed worldwide.
Their manufacturing base had been located in three individual buildings
in and around Cinderford, in the Forest of Dean. The new building
was designed to bring together those separate functions of warehousing,
injection moulding and product assembly on a vacant site on the
Forest Vale Industrial Estate in Cinderford. The site lies on the
edge of the forest with views into the trees.
The resulting building
provides 3750m2 of warehousing, 2270m2 of production space on the
ground floor and offices and recreational facilities on mezzanine
floors overlooking the production areas.
Natural ventilation,
high levels of insulation and natural daylight, rainwater recycling,
automatic artificial lighting and the use of otherwise redundant
land met the client's requirement for maximum sustainability and
low energy consumption.
